Supplier-first control sequence
Before quotation
- Issue one controlled BOM or RFQ revision with no duplicate line items.
- State whether alternatives are prohibited, pre-approved or subject to technical review.
- Separate mandatory certificates from documents requested only for reference.
Before purchase order
- Resolve every deviation in writing.
- Confirm available quantity separately from made-to-order or on-request quantity.
- Freeze delivery location, unloading window and consignee details.
Before dispatch
- Reconcile package count to the final order.
- Verify identification marks remain readable after packing.
- Record vehicle/transporter details and release time.
